Astad Deboo to dance at Korea's festival of India

What's India's finest contemporary dancer Astad Deboo been up to?

He is currently in Seoul, where he informs us he has been working with the Korean music ensemble Noreum Machi along with three Carnatic musicians, C Manjunath, Praveen D Rao and Varijashree, as part of their second residency programme together.

Their collaboration, Same Same But Different, takes off today, to be followed up with performances on October 20 at the National Theatre and 21st at Sarang, the Festival of India in Korea.

After that Deboo will perform a solo on the 25th at the Jeju Stone Park, before rounding off his Korean sojourn with a solo on the 26th in Seoul.
