Update: Top Lashkar terrorist killed in Pulwama, Kashmir

Two Lashkar-e-Tayiba terrorists, including top commander Waseem Shah, were today killed in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Security forces launched an operation in Litter area of Pulwama this morning following information about the presence of the terrorists in the area, a police official said.

The ultras opened fire on security forces to which the law enforcement personnel retaliated, he said.

The other slain terrorist has been identified as Nisar Ahmed Mir.
