Talwars unlikely to be released before Monday

Dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar may have to spend the weekend in Dasna jail.

After being found innocent yesterday of murdering their only child, Aarushi, and their domestic help, Hemraj, Nupur and Rajesh Talwar are yet to get a copy of the verdict that acquitted them.

Reports say that a signed copy of the judgment will have to be hand-delivered before the Talwars are freed and the weekend will delay the process.

The 263-page verdict ends, at least for now, the nine-year ordeal of the Noida couple who were sentenced to life by a Ghaziabad Central Bureau of Investigation court on November 28, 2013 for the double murder that not only transfixed but also shook the nation with its element of filicide.
