Honeypreet will spend Diwali in jail

Honeypreet Insan and her accomplice Sukhdeep Kaur have been sent to judicial custody till 23rd October by the Panchkula District Court in Haryana.

The jailed Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's 'daughter' has been in police custody and has been arrested in connection with the violence that followed the sect head's conviction in a rape case.

The Haryana Police had sought the remand of Priyanka Taneja (36), widely known as Honeypreet Insan, who calls herself the adopted daughter of the Dera chief, for nine more days. -- PTI
