Gujarat polls before Dec 18, Himachal on Nov 9, says EC

Although it did not announce dates for Gujarat assembly elections, the Election Commission said they would be held prior to December 18.

"This will enable simultaneous counting in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat," the CEC said.

The counting of votes for Himachal Pradesh polls will be held on December 18. -- ANI
