Around 50 banners flying on the side of the road on way to Vadnagar tell the story of Narendra Modi -- his birth, Modi selling tea at Vadnagar railway station, later joining the RSS and so on.

The focus of the town this time is the place where he used to vend tea as a young boy. The banners continue with the Modi story to cover demonetization, ties with foreign nations and the bullet train. Vadnagar, Modi's birth place, is about 100 km north of Ahmedabad.

As Modi returns to his home town after a five-year gap, the town has left no stone unturned to celebrate its PM connection.

Modi will launch the intensified Mission Indradhanush that will work towards full immunization. The PM will distribute e-tablets to health workers to mark the launch of ImTeCHO, a mobile app to improve performance of Accredited Social Health Activists workers.

Modi will lay the foundation stone for Bhadbhut Barrage, to be built over the Narmada river in Bharuchm and also flag off the Antyodaya Express between Udhna in Surat, and Jaynagar in Bihar. He will also unveil plaques for the inauguration of various plants of Gujarat Narmada Fertiliser Corporation.
