Ivanka Trump arrives in India to attend GES

United States President Donald Trump's daughter and advisor Ivanka Trump arrived in India for the annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit co-hosted by India and the US.

For the first time, the GES is being held in South Asia. The three-day summit, from November 28-30, will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre and Hyderabad International Trade Expositions.

The inaugural session of the summit will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Ivanka.

Ivanka will also be part of a discussion on increasing women in the workforce through skills training, education, and mentorship on the second day. 

Over 1,500 delegates, including entrepreneurs and investors and CEOs of major knowledge-based companies, are expected to attend the summit. 

Ivanka is leading a delegation from the US at the three-day event.
