Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project on November 28, which will boost Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao's efforts to turn the state into a shining example of emerging India.

The Hyderabad metro is the first in India, where a 34-km route will be thrown open to the public at one go. The Delhi metro route though much bigger, was opened to the public piecemeal. The Hyderabad metro will help elevate the status of the new state of Telangana.

The PM will be sparing half a day from his high-pitched Gujarat poll to travel to Andhra Pradesh, where he will spend at least eight hours. He will reach Gandhinagar at 11:30 pm the same day.

The Prime Minister will arrive at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad on November 28th at 3 pm where he will be received by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Governor ESL Narasimhan, and other ministers before heading to the Miyapur Metro Rail Station by 3.25 pm. The Prime Minister will travel in the Hyderabad metro till Kukatpally and back to Miyapur, a run of around eight kilometres. After visiting the special photo exhibition of the metro rail project, the Prime Minister will head to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
