Dinakaran presents brave front after tax raids

The income tax department carried out raids at the Jaya TV office among 21 other locations in Tamil Nadu following reports of tax evasion. The other sites being raided include the house of Sasikala's brother Ilavarasi in Chennai's T Nagar where VK Sasikala stayed while she was out on parole and her brother TTV Dinakaran's residence at Mannargudi.

However, all was calm at Dinakaran's residence. The usual jamboree of supporters were hanging around AIADMK spokesperson CR Saraswati with volunteers distributing food and water.
