Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick start 15-day M.O.D.I. (Making of Developed India) fest from north-eastern frontier state Assam to mark the completion of his government's third anniversary.

Modi, his entire cabinet, with Bhartiya Janata Party President Amit Shah and other party office bearers will leave no stone unturned to market the NDA government's achievements of last three years beginning from today.

In Assam, where the BJP government is also celebrating its first anniversary, the PM will launch a number of infrastructure projects including India's longest bridge, the Dhola-Sadiya bridge, in Tinsukia district.

As a part of the fest, events will be held in about 900 cities across the country between today to June 15 to highlight the achievements in the three years of the central government.

The festivals will be organised by state governments; apart from presentations highlighting key government policies and accomplishments, caps and leaflets about large welfare schemes will be shared.
