May 23, 2017  16:23
The chief ministers of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry will now have their own version of 'mann ki baat' to connect with the common man. The CMs will connect through All India Radio and Doordarshan much like Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has written to all chief ministers to speak in the local language during their reachout programmes, to promote a 'Team India' spirit.

The CMs can select their own date, time and occasion to relay their message.

By Independence Day, at least 15 CMs are expected to be able to talk to their constituents.
