Consular access falls under ICJ's jurisdiction

A dispute exists between India and Pakistan with regard to the arrest, trial and conviction of Kulbhusan Jadhav, says Judge Abraham. The Court has jurisdiction in the case because of the Vienna Convention and dismisses Pakistan's reservations on this issue. The court says Pakistan had sought assistance in the investigations, but India had refused after being denied consular access. Issue of consular access falls under the court's jurisdiction.
