PT Usha's Academy set to open next month

Olympian PT Usha's new academy at Kozhikode opens on June 15. Called the "Usha School of Athletics' it will train budding athletes. The academy is spread across 30 acres and is built at a cost of Rs 8.5 crore sanctioned by the Centre. It will have a 8-lane synthetic track, a mud track, a 40-bed hostel, and a gymnasium. The Academy will have a team of trained coaches, physios and other key officials to assist the athletes.
