BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has targeted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over another Rs 2 crore alleged bribery case, after sacked AAP minister Kapil Mishra accused him of corruption yesterday.

Swamy has shot off a letter to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, asking him to give sanction to prosecute Kejriwal.

Swamy alleged, "Jung was hand in glove with Kejriwal. All the fight was a facade. He didn't give sanction to prosecute that I asked for long time back. That's why I sent a letter of reminder to this LG."

Kejriwal took a bribe of Rs 2 crore from a private company, Swamy said.

"Kejriwal took the bribe in 4 installments...of Rs 50 lakhs each...in return Kejriwal wrote off a pending VAT issue as quid pro quo," he said.

So what's the next step? Swamy is hopeful the LG will give sanction. But what if he doesn't?

"I will move Supreme Court and bring a contempt charge against the LG. In one case that I fought, SC has clearly said that sanctions has to be given in such cases", Swamy said.

Swamy also claims he has all the documents to prove his charge.
"It's a fit case for CBI to take over and investigate", Swamy said.
