A day after his ex-minister accused him of accepting Rs 2 crore, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that truth will prevail.

"Jeet satya ki hogi. Kal Vidhan Sabha ke vishesh satra se iski shuruwat (Truth will prevail. Tomorrow, this will start with special session of the assembly)," Kejriwal tweeted.

Delhi's ruling AAP, which is struggling to steady itself after the shock defeat in the municipal elections, was on Sunday hit by a scandal with sacked AAP minister Kapil Mishra accusing Kejriwal of accepting Rs 2 crore from health minister Satyendar Jain.

Mishra, who was sacked as water minister on Saturday, has alleged that he was an "eyewitness" to the health and PWD minister handing over the money to Kejriwal.
