Naxal problem cannot be solved by silver bullets: Rajnath

Update on the Home Minister's meeting with CMs of Naxal-affected states:
Rajnath Singh said that the Naxal problem cannot be resolved through "silver bullets" or any shortcut but through short-term, medium-term and long-term solutions. "Residential camps of security forces should be well equipped with power, water facility and better connectivity. We must ensure that states take the ownership of Left Wing Extremism operations and Companies of Central Armed Police Forces in Naxal-affected areas actively cooperating with them. The forces on the ground level should not lack leadership. Unity of purpose and unity of action are essential for success of operations, he told the CMs at the review meeting.
