Tawang readies for Dalai Lama's visit

In Arunachal Pradesh, preparations are on to welcome the 14th Dalai Lama at Tawang. On April 5, the fourteenth Dalai Lama will address a large crowd of Buddhists at the Yidiga Choedzin in Tawang town. Thousands of Buddhist Monpas are eagerly waiting to see their spiritual leader speak, a man considered a living god, but China has viewed the visit as a provocation. Pic: AIR.
