COAS releases book on history of Rashtriya Rifles by Rediff contributors

Rediff.com contributors Brigadier S K Chatterji (retired) and Nitin A Gokhale with Chief of the Army Staff General Bipin Rawat at the release of their book Home of the Brave: History of Rashtriya Rifles.

Gen Rawat released the book at his office in New Delhi on Monday.

The book 'traces the early history of Rashtriya Rifles, its organisation, including its raising to deployment in Punjab, the North East and Jammu and Kashmir'.
