Islamic State claims responsibility for London attack

The Islamic States has claimed responsibility for the London terror attacks that killed four people and injured dozens.

The terror group via its news agency Amaq, said that the Westminster attacker was a "soldier of the Islamic State."

The man who carried out the attack was born in Britain, had a history of extremism, and was known to police and intelligence officials.

The lone assailant rammed into people with a car on Westminster bridge before crashing into gates surrounding parliament and attacking and stabbing a police officer to death.
