UK Parliament attack: 1 woman dead, many injured

One woman has died and a number of others have been hurt, including some with "catastrophic" injuries, in the incident on Westminster Bridge, a junior doctor at St Thomas' Hospital told BBC.

Eyewitness reports that a car ran into pedestrians on the Westminster Bridge outside of Parliament, the legislative seat for the United Kingdom.

No official list of casualties has been issued, and there has been no official confirmation that the two attacks were connected.
