CPM General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Sitaram Yechuri was in the Central Hall of Parliament today with fellow comrades Tapan Kumar Sen, Ritabrata Banerjee and TK Rangarajan.

The MPs spent 30 minutes expressing their happiness over External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj return to Parliament. She was on leave for a couple of months after a kidney transplant.

They also expressed their gratitude to Swaraj for solving many of their public repsentations like the time a comrade lost his passport in London. Recounting the incident, Ritabrata Banerjee said he spoke to Swaraj at 11:30 pm, around the time the incident occured and the next morning a temporary passport was issued to the person.

Sitaram Yechuri was heard quoting Swaraj's reply to his letter on matters pertaining to the new government in the USA.

But the buzz goes that Sushma Swaraj is not in the good books of PM Modi and she may be pushed into Rashtrapati Bhavan and the CPM was in fact trying to 'cultivate' her early on.
