Parrikar to resign as Defence Minister before taking oath as Goa CM: Gadkari

Clarifying the reports over Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar's resignation, Union minister Nitin Gadkari said that Parrikar will resign as the Union minister before taking oath as the Goa CM.

Gadkari said that the BJP under Parrikar has staked a claim to form the government in Goa with the support of Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party MLAs, Goa Forward Party MLAs and independents.

Gadkari said that BJP central leadership has agreed to proposal to make Parrikar Goa CM.
