The Board of Control for Cricket in India has withdrawn complaint filed with the International Cricket Council against Australian captain Steve Smith and Peter Handscomb.

The BCCI withdrew the complaint after its CEO Rahul Johri met Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland in Mumbai today.

Earlier, the BCCI had lodged an official complaint with the International Cricket Council against Australian captain Steve Smith and Peter Handscomb for seeking dressing room help on a DRS call during the recently-concluded second Test in Bengaluru.

The issue had become huge as Indian skipper Virat Kohli had given Smith a very animated send-off from the field and had then stated during the post-match press conference that the Australians had done the same thing in other instances as well.
