Alapur in UP is the only constituency going to the polls today

Voting in the Alapur constituency of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, is currently underway.

This is the only constituency in UP that is yet to vote.

The voting was postponed after Samajwadi Party candidate Chandrashekhar Kanaujia died of heart attack.

Voting was held yesterday in Uttar Pradesh for the final phase of Assembly elections, recording an over 60 percent voter turnout. The exit polls will be out at 5:30 pm today.

The counting of votes will take place on March 11
