Democrat Senator Mark Warner called upon Pakistan not to play both ways, by claiming to curb terrorism, while letting terror groups sneak into India.

"Pakistan cannot play both ways. On one hand, they say we are curbing terrorism and on the other, let other terror groups to sneak into India," Warner said during a programme.

"Not only on Kashmir, India has shown immense restraint even after the Bombay attacks," he added.

Warner's Republican colleague in the Senate Dan Sullivan also expressed concern over 'safe-havens in Pakistan'.

"Either India or Pakistan should look at the relationships as a zero-sum game. Our senior general in Afghanistan expressed concern over safe-havens in Pakistan," he asserted.

Warner also opined that India can train thousands of civil servants in Afghanistan but Pakistan looks at this with so much suspicion that it becomes very difficult to work.
