Some people are really, really angry about two accountants role in probably the biggest and most embarrassing moment in the 89-year history of the Academy Awards.

So angry they are making death threats, and their company, PricewaterhouseCoopers, has found it necessary to hire bodyguards to protect them.

Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs said that Brian Cullinan and his partner for the night, Martha Ruiz, are done with any Academy dealings. A PwC official acknowledged that the two, who are partners with the firm, are banned from handling the companys Oscars duties ever again but wont be losing their jobs.

Cullinan and Ruiz have been identified as the culprits in the mix-up that had presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway announcing La La Land, and not Moonlight as the winner for best picture.
