Security has been stepped up in and around Delhi ahead of the Yoga Day celebrations to be organised by the ministry of AYUSH, tomorrow.  There is also a heightened security alert after the spate of terror attacks in the UK.

The Pioneer reports that at least 3,000 CCTV cameras installed at various intersections and market places all over the national Capital have reportedly been found non-functional.
Police have also started a security audit of hotels, guest houses, while cyber cafes are being checked and a security verification of construction workers are being done.

All the district DCPs have reportedly been asked to repair the non-functional cameras.

Last year, the Inner Circle, Middle Circle and the radial roads inside the Outer Circle of Connaught Place were made out of bounds for general public from 3 am, and is likely to be done this year as well.

Roads leading to all the yoga venues are being sanitised.
