Rohan Bopanna wins French Open mixed doubles title

India's Rohan Bopanna won his first Grand Slam as he and his Canadian partner Gabriela Dabrowski edged past Germany's Anna-Lena Groenefeld and Colombia's Robert Farah in the final of the mixed doubles at the French Open in Paris, on Thursday.
Bopanna and Dabrowski registered a hardfought 6-2, 2-6, 12-10 victory.
He is only the fourth Indian to win a Grand Slam trophy after Leander Paes, Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza.
