Rahul won't seek bail, speaks to farmers' kin on phone

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi speaks to family members of deceased farmers on phone. Sources said Gandhi won't be returning without meeting the farmers in Mandsaur.

Families of deceased farmers waited to meet Gandhi outside the premises where he's been kept. Sources also said that he won't seek bail until allowed to meet them.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Sachin Pilot, who accompanied Gandhi on the visit, said, "Families of victims are hardly 1 km away from us, they want to meet us but police is stopping them. We are here only to express solidarity with them and appeal for calm & peace but police is using brute force." -- ANI
