Rahul detained: Slams govt's bullets for farmers, relief for rich policy

Rahul Gandhi was stopped ahead of Neemuch near Mandsaur. He has been detained and taken into preventive custody and will be taken to a guesthouse. Section 144 has been imposed in Mandsaur which means a crowd cannot gather.

The Congress VP said, "I only wanted to meet farmers who are the citizens of this country. No reason has been given for my arrest. PM can only give bullets to farmers. They arrested me in UP and MP also. Farmers can't be given bonus, compensation, loan waivers, the PM can only give bullets to farmers. The government can give relief to the rich of Rs 1.50,000 crore, but only 'goli' (bullets) for the farmers. ."
