At least two soldiers were injured in an encounter with about five terrorists in Uri along the Line of Control. The encounter is still on and no reports of the whereabouts of the terrorists.

A tense situation prevails along the LoC as Pakistan is pushing more and more terrorists across the Line of Control as snow melts, which is what Army Chief Bipin Rawat had warned.

There are reports that Pakistan has scattered terrorists in small groups along the Line of Control to carry out multiple attacks on Indian forces. The Indian Army has redeployed and reshuffled its troops to tackle any new threat in the Valley.
