BJP threatening Gujarat MLAs, offering money: Congress

The Congress on Sunday paraded its Gujarat MLAs before media in a resort in Bengaluru.
The party alleged that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in the state is threatening and trying to bribe the MLAs.
"The BJP is hitting below the belt, we are fighting to protect democracy," senior party leader and MLA Shaktisinh Gohil said.
"Ask these MLAs the way they are threatened, they chose to stand by party even when offered Rs 15 crore," Gohil said, adding that the Congress has required numbers to win the Rajya Sabha polls.
"There's no need for us to stay here (in Bengaluru) for even a minute if they say they won't threaten," Gohil said. -- ANI
