Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweets within minutes of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's resignation. The PM writes, "Congratulate Nitish Ji on joining fight against corruption. 125 crore people welcome this welcome and support this honesty."

The tweet can be considered as an indication of an alliance being formed between the BJP and Nitish Kumar.
