Nitish never asked Tejashwi's resignation, says Lalu

Rashtriya Janata Dal Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav today said that his son and Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav will not resign from the grand alliance's cabinet.

Lalu, however, said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar never asked Tejashwi's resignation.

He said that he spoke to Nitish yesterday over the issue and blamed media for trying to break the alliance.

"There is no bitterness between me and Nitish. I spoke to him yesterday. Media is trying to crack our alliance," Lalu said after meeting his party members.
