Dubbing the separate meetings of the mahagathbandhan as a 'routine meeting' ahead of Bihar assembly's monsoon session, the Rashtriya Janata Dal and Janata Dal-United have rubbished the repeated barbs of a breakup, asserting that the Grand Alliance is 'unbreakable'.

Speaking to ANI, RJD MLA Bhai Birendra said, "Before Vidhan Sabha session starts, such meetings are normal. Other important thing is that we wanted to conduct a meeting before Lalu Yadav leaves for Ranchi for his case."

Birendra further added that those who are speculating that the ruling Bihar Grand Alliance of JDU-RJD-Congress is heading for a split, are living in fool's paradise.

JD-U- leader and parliamentary affairs minister Shravan Kumar echoed similar views.

The RJD and the Congress, too, will hold separate legislature party meetings today.

Fissures in the Bihar mahagathbandhan came to the fore after the CBI booked Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi, and their son Tejashwi in a corruption case.

Lalu has been accused of influencing the awarding of an IRCTC tender when he was the railway minister in 2005 and accepting prime land in return. The land was allegedly transferred to Tejashwi and Rabri via a shell company.

The Congress has been playing peacemaker in the standoff between Bihars two major parties.
