Ready to discuss all issues, don't stall proceedings, govt tells Opposition

The third day of the monsoon session of Parliament begins. The House is expected to discuss a range of issues including cow protection vigilantism.

The opposition parties have said they'll raise issues like cow vigilantism, unrest in Jammu and Kashmir, and the India-China standoff in Dokalam.

The government has appealed to the opposition not to disrupt and stall the proceedings of the house. The government said it is ready for a debate.

BSP Chief Mayawati quit the Rajya Sabha yeserday. She said she was not allowed to speak on what she called frequent attacks on Dalits in Uttar Pradesh.
