Team India coach decision on hold, says Ganguly

The head coach of the Indian cricket team was scheduled to be chosen today but Sourav Ganguly, Cricket Advisory Committee member, said they need to speak to the people who matter, especially Virat Kohli, before making the final decision.

"We will hold on for a few days on announcement of India's next coach, need to talk to few other people specially Virat Kohli,' Ganguly said in a press conference.

"Have to give credit to Kohli that he totally stayed out of it, didn't give any input on names (for coach), he added.

Ravi Shastri and Virender Sehwag are top contenders for the position.
