The meeting of Rashtriya Janata Dal MLAs to decide whether party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's son, Tejashwi, should resign as Bihar deputy CM, ends.

After the meeting the RJD spokesperson said that Lalu's son will not resign. "We are with him. Lalu will bounce back."

The RJD said that Bihar CM and alliance partner Nitish Kumar was not discussed at the meeting. When asked if Nitish would be upset at Tejashwi's refusal to resign, the party spokesperson said, "How can we answer on Nitish's behalf? Let him answer."

The RJD also said that the corruption allegations are all at the behest of the BJP. "Those who stand up to BJP are being targeted," the spokesperson said.

Lalu Yadav, who was raided on Friday, had called a meeting of his legislators, who form the biggest group in the legislature. Tejashwi has been accused of corruption by the CBI along with Lalu Yadav. As the opposition called for his resignation, Tejashwi Yadav announced he would not oblige.

The party said that they had full confidence in Tejashwi.
