Condemning the attack on Amarnath Yatra pilgrims, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India will never get bogged down by such cowardly attacks.

"India will never get bogged down by such cowardly attacks and the evil designs of hate," Modi tweeted.

"Pained beyond words on the dastardly attack on peaceful Amarnath Yatris in J&K," he said in another tweet.

The PM said that he has spoken to the Jammu and Kashmir Governor and the chief minister and assured all possible assistance required.
