G20: Angela Merkel welcomes PM to Hamburg

German Chancellor Angela Merkel welcomes world leaders to the G-20, which is being held in Hamburg. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who landed in Hamburg yesterday after his historic three-day visit to Israel, was welcomed by Merkel as were Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Modi is likely to hold talks with leaders of the BRICS -- Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa -- today, as well as other world leaders present.

The G20 members include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, the US, and the European Union. Summit being held in Hamburg.

US President Donald Trump said he is "looking forward' to meeting Putin. @DonaldTrump I look forward to all meetings today with world leaders, including my meeting with Vladimir Putin. Much to discuss.
