CBI searches a BJP conspiracy, witch hunt, alleges Lalu

Lalu Yadav hit out against the BJP and the Centre after his premises were CBI conducted raids across four cities in connection with a fresh corruption case against the RJD chief, his wife Rabri Devi, son Tejashwi Yadav and others.

At a presser he said, "CBI searches a BJP conspiracy, witch hunt; have done nothing wrong and am open to any probe."

The searches, which started at 7 am and included Rabri Devis Circular Road residence in Patna, were spread across 12 locations in Patna, Ranchi, Gurgaon and Bhubaneswar. The raids included the premises of the Yadav family as well as those of his confidant Prem Chand Gupta, whose wife Sarla Gupta is listed as an accused in the FIR.

The Centre has tightened its noose around Lalu Yadav ever since he announced a massive Desh bachao, Bhajpa hatao rally on August 27 in Patna, RJDs Bihar unit president Ramchandra Purbey said in Patna.
