MP who collapsed in Parl on life support

Just in: Condition of IUML MP E Ahamed who was rushed to the hospital from Parliament is critical, presently on life support system.

Ahamed fainted during the President Pranab Mukherjee's speech in Parliament this afternoon. He was rushed to hospital. Ahamed served in the Manmohan Singh government and represents the Malappuram Lok Sabha constituency of Kerala. He is 79. The President spoke for over an hour addressing both houses of Parliament ahead of the Budget session tomorrow.
