Federal judge stays Trump's travel ban

A federal judge in New York has granted an emergency stay on President Donald Trump's travel ban, reports in the American media say.

The stay has been granted for citizens in transit from seven countries named in Trump's executive order.

The order came after several passengers from these seven countries, who left for the United States before the ban came into effect, were detained after arriving at the NYC airport. -- Agencies
