ITC Q3 profit rises 5.7% to Rs2,647 crore

ITC on Friday reported a 5.71% increase in standalone net profit at Rs2,646.73 crore for the third quarter ended December. The company had posted a net profit of Rs2,503.76 crore during the same period last fiscal.

Total income from operations was up 4.69% at Rs13,569.97 crore for the quarter under review, as against Rs12,961.85 crore in the previous fiscal, ITC said in a BSE filing.The stock was trading at Rs263.10, down 1.79% at 1.48pm, on BSE.
