'Irregularities' in Air India software purchase: CBI files FIR

The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a first information report in alleged irregularities in procurement of software worth Rs 225 crore by Air India.

The CBI has filed FIR against unknown officials of Air India and private firms SAP AG and IBM.

The FIR has been registered under sections related to criminal conspiracy and misconduct by government servants after receiving complaint from vigilance department.
