Bombings in Kandahar; UAE envoy, governor injured; 9 killed

Afghan media reports that at least nine people, including four Arabs, have been killed and 16 wounded in an explosion at a provincial government guesthouse in Kandahar.

The wounded include United Arab Emirates ambassador and Kandahar governor, a TOLOnews report says.

It said that the governors condition in serious.

No group as claimed responsibility of the attack as yet.

The bombings came soon after twin blasts in Kabul which killed at least 21 people.
