SP led by Akhilesh Yadav is the real Samajwadi party: Ram Gopal Yadav

As the fight for the cycle symbol heats up, Ram Gopal Yadav headed to the Election Commission to stake claim to the symbol. Speaking to reporters, the Yadav uncle, who is favouring Akhilesh, said, "We have over 90 per cent support of the members. Prima facie SP led by Akhilesh Yadav is the real Samajwadi party hence we have right over the cycle symbol."

The Yadav uncle added that he had brought with him 7 cartons with more than 1.5 lakh pages of documents to show that they had the majority and hence, they were the real SP.
