PM unveils 112-ft-tall Shiva statue in Coimbatore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveils 112-feet-tall Shiva statue in Coimbatore.

He was accompanied by Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev of Isha Fondation.

The statue is dedicated to 'Adiyogi', a form of Lord Shiva who, according to the Hindu tradition, is considered the first of yogis.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E Paliniswami, Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao and Puducherry Governor Kiran Bedi, among other VIP guests, were present at the occasion.
