OPS appeals to MLAs: Don't vote for Palaniswami

Former chief minister of Tamil Nadu O Panneerselvam tonight urged All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam MLAs to vote against Edappadi K Palaniswami in the trust vote tomorrow to safeguard Jayalalithaa's interests.

"Amma continuously worked to see that family rule doesn't enter Tamil politics. Till her last she worked to achieve this goal," Panneerselvam said on the eve of the trust vote in the Tamil Nadu assembly.

He further said, "I reiterate to AIADMK MLAs, please think wisely before casting your vote tomorrow. Don't buckle under pressure."

"Please vote against the trust vote and safeguard the interests of Amma," the former chief minister added.
