Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam working President MK Stalin on Friday said that his party will vote against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E Palaniswami in tomorrow's trust vote.

"If he (Palaniswami) seeks vote of confidence tomorrow, we will oppose him in the assembly. Our 89 MLAs will vote against him,' Stalin said.

"People from all walks of life have been badly affected due to political crisis in Tamil Nadu. So we have decided to vote against the government," he added.

Palaniswami will seek the vote of confidence tomorrow.

The AIADMK has 134 legislators, of whom all but ten back Sasikala, and therefore Palaniswami. He needs 118 votes to remain chief minister.
